  • About Human Interest
  • Human Interest is an affordable, full-service 401(k) and 403(b) provider that makes it easy for small and medium-sized businesses to help their employees save for retirement.

  • Project Background
  • This infographic reflects public data and research done by Human Interest's marketing team reflecting percentages of the U.S. workforce, by state, without access to an employer-sponsored retirement plan. This asset is part of a gated content collection created to drive inbound growth.

  • Challenge
  • In an information-dense industry, it is always a challenge to deliver critical information in digestible, compelling ways. Also with the Human Interest brand in early stages of development, there was a question of how an effective graphic can be created with consideration of what value these design choices may bring to the brand long-term.

  • Solution
  • In this asset Human Interest is positioned as an access point for critical information on retirement saving statistics. The statistical information is visually mapped and prioritized, with additional copy providing context as to why Human Interest believes this knowledge matters. The shades of blue were true to Human Interest's primary brand palette and additional shades of red were incorporated to communicate the negative effects of a lack of access.

  • My Role
  • I translated the information from a text-based document into a visual asset including an infographic that showcases each state's statistic comparatively. I designed it in vector format so the graphic will retain its clarity when viewed any scale.
